Originally from Indiana, I moved to California to work in the film industry after I graduated from Butler University. I was an Assistant Director on over 100 music videos (back when MTV was still about music, lol!), several movies, tv shows, and lots of commercials. I met my wife at a church I was going to where I became a Christian in 1992, and we worked in full-time ministry for 8 years. We moved to Colorado in December of 1999, and I started working with my father-in-law in real estate development. I got my residential license in 2002, and within two years I was in the top 20 out of over 4,000 Realtors here in Colorado Springs. My wife got her license in 2005, and we built the #1 Keller Williams team in Colorado Springs - we were at KW for 5 years. I've sold a couple thousand homes and hundreds of millions of dollars worth of volume in my 20 years as a Realtor.
I’m passionate about helping realtors prepare for the future. In February of 2015, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thank God we caught it early. I had surgery and have had a clean bill of health ever since. For 6 months, we had zero closings – BY CHOICE. Because we were prepared and could afford not to have to work so we could spend important time together as a family getting through this challenge. LIFE HAPPENS. To everybody. Most realtors aren’t prepared financially. I LOVE helping realtors figure out what they need to do to get ahead, how to maximize their business and avoid the burnout factor, how to have a GREAT quality of life with their family and friends building more memories as they build a true business that will eventually be able to work without them.
